Jill and I became friends when we met at Roehampton on the Masters course in Counselling Psychology. We had things in common such as age and both being adoptive and natural mothers. We both knew the joy of having children through both pathways and we able to talk about this unique and treasured experience. We kept in touch both personally and professionally. I recently read old emails and had forgotten how much Jill loved nature. Yesterday I sat an smiled and cried over some of the lovely photos she sent and also some of the wise sayings she passed on.I know how excited she was when she became a grandmother. I feel privileged to have known her.
