I remember Jill in her sports car giving us a cheery wave and a beaming smile, possibly on her way to work or to visit her Mum. She was always available to help with flower arranging in the church and we usually had a nice chat with coffee and biscuits while she did her regular spot on the windowsill in the transept (right hand side!). She often brought flowers from her own garden, which she loved, and she gave me some iris corms which I still have and they are doing very well. We had such fun decorating the church for Sarah’s wedding with grunge-coloured roses which Jill managed to get from somewhere! Alan and I will miss her greatly.
